SIMPLY NORTHUMBRIAN CD The band used its own name as the title for its first CD, which has fifteen tracks and thirty-eight great tunes on it, thirty-two of them written by Roy. On most of the tracks Kirsteen and Wendy play fiddle, Roy moothy and Stephen the keyboard. Some other tracks feature either Kirsteen or Roy’s playing accompanied by Stephen. On three more the band is joined by the well known and very fine Northumbrian Piper, Lyn Nicholson and, there’s a real treat too as highly respected, veteran singer Hannah Hutton sings Roy’s song ‘Northumberland’ in her lovely, lilting, unaccompanied traditional style.
