Sounds Northumbrian |
|
Each pack has six to ten of my original compositions with the music presented one or two tunes or songs to a sheet. There are accompanying colour images and also some poems and words. A veritable feast of new music for players of traditional instruments to enjoy, and also a unique craft gift from Northumbria. Hand crafted with a keen eye on quality the pages are printed onto fine textured unbound sheets and each pack is personally signed and presented in protective transparent cellophane.
Lindisfarne: images of Northumberland’s holy island of Lindisfarne in tune, picture and verse. Land of Saints: the lives of Northumbria’s great celtic and anglo-saxon saints in tune and verse. Celtic Footprints: reflective images, words, songs and airs inspired by Northumbria’s Celtic Christian heritage. Bridges of the Tyne: bright music, images and words depicting the River Tyne’s iconic bridges. Pockerley Manor: a period feel, with music depicting life in the manor in the year 1825. Northumberland Castles: Northumberland’s heritage castles depicted in music, with stunning images.
And coming a little later, to extend the series: Bonny Northumberland: hills, market towns and coastal beauty captured in tune, song and images. Canny Newcastle: a period view of the bustling ‘toon’ with bright music, verse and images. |
